Brushless neodym motors MEGA are designed for direct drive (propellers, ducted fans) and for drive with gearbox. Motors MEGA AC are six-pole 3 phase AC motors, hardened steel shaft is supported in two ball bearings with permanent grease filling. Neodym magnets of dynamically balanced rotor are kevlar bandaged. Efficiency reaches up to 88%. Motor has good efficiency even at high currents thanks to vent holes. Hand made stator, lightweight rotor and design of MEGA AC motors allows permanent high rpm operation.

Motors are made in 4 lengths and are designed mostly for direct propeller drive (without gearbox). However, gearbox can be used and motor ase suitable also for ducted fan drives. Motor can be used for models from 0,8 to 5kg. Output shaft diameter of this product line is 5mm.

• suitable for 7 - 8 cells NiMH, NiCd or 2 cells Li-POL, Li-ION.
• recommended for aerobatic models 1 - 1,5 kg: 8 cells, propeller 8,5x5“(13100 RPM), 31A.
• for RC combat models 0,9 - 1,2 kg : 7 cells, propeller up to 8x5" and 30A controller.
• electric powered sailplanes 0,8 - 2,5 kg: folding propeller 8x4,5“ CAM (30A), propeller 9x5“CAM (35A), propeller 10x6“ (9800 RPM, 42A).
• for use with 90 mm ducted fans (WEMOTEC) on 14 - 16 cells NiCd, NiMH cells.
• version HELI - for helicopter models with 8 - 10 cells NiCd, NiMH or 3 cells Li-POL, Li-ION (ECO8 or other suitable helicopter type up to 1,5kg).
