The servos with the BLCD motor bring into servo design revolution. The same, as when the motors with the ferrite magnets to power e-models were replaced with BLDC motors.
The common servo motor includes brushes, made either of metal sheets or carbon. It brings alwas some danger of failure.
The brushes were replaced with electronic switching, which is not only safer but can be programmed for optimal motor function. The servos can be extremelly "strong", yet very rapid. It depends on the firmware used.
